This piece is set in a far dystopian future of Earth with decrepit colossal machines as the only signs of humanity after extinction. Now the machines provide shelter to a new apex species. I wanted to do a piece akin to parasitic infestation, but with the parasites as sentient humanoids and what's left of Earth's organisms while the host is only a collective of human aspects. The original was done free hand with a ballpoint pen. Companion piece to "Darkness of Sol" -
